- Here is the classroom and stadium data from the ball drop. The sig fig rules killed our data from the classroom because we were limited to 1 siggy. That’s why we had to go to the stadium.
- the formula we used to determine the acceleration for the falling ball.
- Top 10! For now, we will say down and to the left are negative. We’ll sophisticate this after Spring Break.
- TOP 10!! “g” is a magnitude of the acceleration of an object due to gravity.
- This is why the time from the ball drop in the room only has one sig fig. The 1st iffy is the 1st digit (when reading the number from left to right.
- TOP 10!! How to determine the number of sig figs for measured numbers.
- TOP 10!! The height that the ball fell from was measured to three sig figs so it is NOT the problem. The weak link was the time we measured since it only had one sig fig in the room and 2 sig figs from the stadium.
- So the time was our weak link.
- It is all measuring one gram, but cost $5990 to go from one sig fig to 6 sig figs.
- TOP 10!!
- Birth of the Blue Kinematic equations.
- TOP 10!! there are 7 situations for the blue equations.
- 3.2.1e
- TOP 10!! 3.2.2
- 3.2.2f
- three of the seven situations of free fall.

- TOP 10!! 3.2.3
