- The three equations of the trio (notice the 2nd orange is the equation for the x vs. t and the 1st Orange is the equation for the v vs. t

- Speed of sound.
- Lightning strikes. You see it close to instantaneously since speed of light and all. The sound gets there a bit later since it only moves at 1100 ft/sec or approximately 1 mile every 5 sec. So when you see the light from lightning start counting.
- We used to set off dynamite down 20 ft holes. Then the geophones measured the speed of the rock layers below. Sandstone is around 5000 ft/sec, granite can get up to 18,000 ft per second.
- You would feel the vibration on your feet before you would hear the explosion of dynamite.
- A jet moving beyond mach1
- Sonic boom
- miniature sonic booms come from the crack of a bullwhip.
- How?? We’ll discuss!

- What happens when sound barrier is crossed.

- ectoplasm in a nuclear explosion
- Had to have this done by last Friday.

- You could have solved all of the details of the bullet velocity and barrell by working your way up from the basement (a vs. t)
- . . .
- . . .
- What the a vs. t graph would REALLY look like for a bullet in the barrel. Notice that the area under the more complicated curve is STILL 600m/s.
- . . .
- The motion of a bullet in a barrel is AT LEAST a Septet. So acceleration would be some kind of complicated negative 3rd order equation.
